Chartering a private jet is an experience of a lifetime. Especially if it’s your first time flying. At Brighton Aviation, we aim for every flight with us to be an extraordinary experience. We know flying on a private jet is a very different experience than commercial flying. Thinking of private jet travel has a whole new level of traveling. The luxury kind.

Brighton Aviation offers an etiquette guide to assist you during your first private jet experience. This can also be a reference for future private flights.

  1. Book Your Charter Flight in Advance

Booking a private flight is just a click away. Talk to our sales advisor about your travel plans.

Knowing in advance allows us to prepare and coordinate your specific jet for departure and arrival times. But you can book flights up to 48 hours in advance.

  1. Be on Time for your Flight

When you’re flying on a commercial flight, there’s the golden rule to arrive on your flight extra early. But not on a private jet. You don’t have to be there until 15-20 minutes before your flight.

But it’s important to not be late. Brighton Aviation wants you to arrive at your destination at the time specified. We care about your travel plans being upheld as soon as you book with Brighton Aviation. Timing is everything and we care about being on time.

  1. Let the Host Enter the Private Jet First

The person who booked the flight and invited others should enter the jet first as a matter of etiquette. The reason for this is that they are spending the money on the flight they should have first pick of where to sit.

The host might have a preference for where they wanted to sit. It’s common courtesy to allow the host to pick first. If you’re not the host booking your first private jet, any seat on the private jet is still luxurious to sit in.

  1. Dress Code on a Private Jet

Technically, there is no dress code when flying on a private jet.  If you’re flying for business or meeting with friends or colleagues, it might be better not to be dressed down.

Flying on a private jet is a high form of transport. Many of our passengers are wearing formal or smart-casual clothing.

A lot of our passengers wear clothes that are comfortable to wear but are still fashionable to wear. They tend to dress to impress. But try to avoid wearing sweats or informal wear while traveling.

  1. Always Check the Luggage Limitations for your Private Flight

When you are booking your private jet for the first time or for many times. Brighton Aviation is perfect at picking the type of jet that would best suit your travel needs. There are many different types of jets to choose from, but they are different. Especially when it comes to luggage capacity.

Very Light Jets or Light Jets have a very limited luggage capacity. If you happen to choose that kind of jet, then you’ll need to pack light. If you bring other passengers with you, you’ll need to make sure that there’s enough room for everyone’s belongings. If you’re planning a weekend trip, then packing light won’t be a problem.

But if you’re flying on super midsize jets or heavy jets then it’s different. No need to pack light; these jets have ample luggage space. These jets are great for typically longer flights or your trip is longer than a weekend.

For your upcoming private jet, coordinate with Brighton Aviation to plan and pack accordingly.

  1. Make Special Requests & Accommodations During Your Booking for a Private Jet

The perk about flying on a private jet is that you can make special requests for food or other amenities. By making these requests they make your trip opulent. Those requests could be the type of food you want to be served during your flight. Or this could be the type of alcohol you want serviced or specific toiletries in the bathroom. Brighton Aviation would be happy to arrange any

Brighton Aviation can also arrange ground transportation to pick you up when your flight lands. Please inform Brighton Aviation of special requests before booking. Brighton Aviation ensures that all your requests are met with satisfaction.

  1. Bringing your Pets on the Flight Suggestions

Another big perk of flying on a private jet is being able to bring your pet on a flight. Normally, on commercial flights, there are a lot of restrictions and protocols. But on a private jet, you get the luxury of having your pet onboard.

But before you bring your pet on board, make sure your pet is groomed. We take pride in keeping our jets clean and luxurious. At Brighton Aviation, we love passengers bringing their pets, showcasing an unbreakable bond.

  1. Enjoy your Private Jet Experience Responsibly

Brighton Aviation wants you and your party to enjoy flying on a private jet. That even means enjoying all the amenities and preferences that we can offer you. We do offer alcohol but we advise you to drink responsibly and not get drunk. We want you to be mindful of those around you and aware of your surroundings.
